Gavin: Well, there's another way in which I'm even more unusual… Like I said, I've been an HMBoys.com member for about a year. And one of the big things that strikes me about the site is the lack of black boys. OK, there are a few. But they're mainly Caribbean boys as far as I can tell and they give me the impression that they're "money boys". I don't know why it is but ordinary, run-of-the-mill black boys-next-next-door just don't seem to turn up on sites like this one… |

HMBoys: Believe us, Gavin… It's not that we don't try. But you're right. We just don't get black boys coming forward for the work. And, like you say, when we do get photographs of black boys they've often come from professional photographers who've gone out to shoot in the Caribbean because the boys there expect less money! Gavin: So I was right! Anyway, the point is that I want to see more black boys like me coming forward. I'm gay and I've got no hang-ups about it. And I happen to like black boys in bed too, so I'm determined to do my best to encourage more of them to come forward and show off what they've got! I know that there are specialist gay magazines and websites but us black people shouldn't be confined to a publishing ghetto.
